The Trial of Mira Vance

In an extreme form of confession, The Clarified Church of the Cross drugs 18-year-old Mira Vance, putting her in a hallucinogenic coma. Mira’s hallucination takes the shape of a court room occupied by the people of her past. She rushes to the stand to defend herself, the overbearing Judge deciding what sentence best matches her sins. A coming-of-age story that examines the impact religion has on young women, the journey of reclaiming one’s identity, and radical self-acceptance… The Trial of Mira Vance dives into the dark nature of “innocence” while encouraging the pursuit of authentic joy.
